DTSTAMP:20261117T125000Z

DESCRIPTION:Europe’s economies depend on care\, social services and equality\, yet these are still too often treated as expenditure rather than investment. This workshop will challenge narrow definitions of economic value and explore how social rights and lived inequalities shape labour market participation\, sustainable wellbeing and long-term economic performance.Drawing on Social Platform’s SWINS project\, the European Women’s Lobby’s work on feminist economics\, care and economic justice\, and TGEU’s intersectional perspective\, participants will examine how social investment creates value that conventional economic measures often overlook. Together\, they will discuss a set of policy messages on how Europe can redefine investment\, value and competitiveness to support more resilient\, inclusive and sustainable economies.&nbsp\;Organisations: Social Platform\, European Women’s Lobby and Trans Europe and Central Asia (TGEU)
