Description

This study provided information on the understanding and use of good practice in gender mainstreaming. It reported at both EU and Member State level (five selected Member States: Austria, Poland, Sweden, Spain and the United Kingdom). The development of a working definition of good practice in gender mainstreaming as part of the study helped EIGE to establish methodological principles. These principles then allowed tools and methods to be processed and categorised into good practices. This information became the starting point for EIGE’s work on collecting, processing and disseminating good practice.
