The contract aims to map existing national policies, research, definitions and data on cyber violence against women across the Member States. This will include: concepts and definitions of different forms of cyber violence used in Member States and available survey and administrative data collection on cyber violence with all EU-27.

The maximum amount of the contract is envisaged to be €40,000. Description of the requested services EIGE is looking for a professional service to provide a quantitative and qualitative analysis of media coverage of the topic of violence against women and the topic of gender stereotypes in selected EU Member States and media outlets.
This tender is announced with a view to select the best proposal for the implementation of the project “Update of the Gender Equality in Academia and Research tool – GEAR tool”. Description of the contract The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) envisages awarding a low-value contract for the study to provide an updated analysis of the economic costs of gender- based violence to the European Union and its Member States. This study is an update on the previous EIGE study from 2014 on the cost of gender-based violence. The new study has the objective of highlighting the economic costs of gender-based violence, in particular intimate partner violence, to the EU Member States.
