Procurement

Procurement at EIGE is subject to Article 74 of its Financial Rules (.doc, 310KB) as well as relevant provisions of the Council Regulation 1605/2002 applicable to the general budget of the European Communities and its Implementing Rules, Commission Regulation 2342/2002.

In accordance with its establishment Regulation, REGULATION (EC) No 1922/2006, has legal entity and may enter into contractual relations with other organisations in order to accomplish any tasks.

The conclusion of a contract is only possible after successful completion of strict tendering procedures in accordance with EU public procurement rules.

Low value contracts with a threshold up to 60.000 EURO

Where necessary and justified, EIGE may invite economic operators for negotiated procurement procedures for the acquisition of supplies, works and services. Ex-ante publicity notices for contracts with a value exceeding 25.000 and below 60.000, on the Institute's website is the first stage through which the Institute may award a contract.

All economic operators may express their professional interest but only those preselected will participate in tendering.
