EIGE's Resource and Documentation Centre Consultation Meeting

The consultation meeting on EIGE's Resource and Documentation Centre (RDC) invites key stakeholders from information/resource centres and libraries on gender equality in Europe to Vilnius.

The focus of the meeting is the development of EIGE’s RDC and on learning from past experiences and challenges of existing information/resource centres and libraries in Europe.

EIGE’s RDC will offer a single point of access to already existing information/resource centres and libraries on gender equality in Europe. The service will offer one common and simple search engine, reference service, bibliographical database and keywords from the European Women’s Thesaurus. To this end EIGE wants to consult with key stakeholders in this area and get their input both with regards to the concept itself and the technical requirements.
