EIGE mainly recruits staff as Temporary Agents. Contract Agents and Seconded National Experts are also recruited by EIGE.
We currently have no permanent officials and recruit staff members through open selection procedures. Although EIGE follows its own rules and practices on recruitment, those of EU institutions are respected and successful applicants are offered contracts in accordance with the Staff Regulation of Officials of the European Communities and the Conditions of employment of other servants of the European Communities.
Due to the high number of spontaneous applications sent to European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), we regret to inform you that it is not possible for us to grant each the required attention. The Institute recommends that applications are sent only in response to specific published vacancies before the stated deadline. Please note that EIGE will not acknowledge receipt of spontaneous applications or internship requests.
